Eventually battling and defeating the biggest names in Track history of the late 1960’s and early 1970’s. Including his legendary race with Jim Ryun the "Fastest Man on Earth".

MRS. OTOSHI: That's it! Leave! Just like you did nine years ago after your brother died. You always run away. When Hunter went to fight. Why didn't you go with him like all the other boys?! I know why. You're a coward. You hear me. A coward!
DAN: Sorry, maybe you'd be happier if I died instead of Hunter!
GENRE: Mystery/Drama/Film Noir
Set on the Big Island of Hawaii in 1954, "The Blue Lava Staircase" was originally developed at the East West Players, David Henry Hwang Writers Institute in Los Angeles.

With the backdrop of impending statehood, a murder, an old flame, and the burden of guilt and shame, our defiant protagonist struggles to prove to himself, friends, and family that his decision not to fight was honorable and just.
Finally, a Japanese American WWII story about the heroism and courage of conscientious objectors rather than those who chose to fight.

CLAUDE: Yeah, so the mountains of garbage start seething and evolving from the chemicals and toxic waste regurgitating inside them. Soon they've developed consciousness and seek revenge on humans. Then they come to life and want to destroy all humans! And they hate banana peels because they never decompose!
GENRE: Comedy
In the middle of middle America, in the middle of the middle of nowhere, on the corner of self-delusion and envy, the members of a small town public access TV station scramble to create their film "masterpieces" in hopes of a one-way ticket on the train of fame and fortune.
Their hoped for destination? That mythical, unreachable land far far away, where grapefruits bask in the warm sunshine 365 days a year and a spray tan is considered basic hygiene.
Yes, you guessed it!
